Day 1: Cusco – Cachora – Capuliyoc – Chiquisca

Enjoy a comfortable and relaxing journey of approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes towards the picturesque Quechua village of San Pedro de Cachora.

Trek Start and Panoramic Views at Capuliyoc: From Cachora, we will head to the spectacular Capuliyoc viewpoint. Here, your expert guide will reveal the magnitude of Choquequirao in the distance and the immensity of the imposing Apurímac Canyon that awaits us.
Descending Trek Towards Chikisca: We will begin a downhill trek of approximately 3 to 4 hours (8 km) through landscapes that adorn the path. We will arrive at Chikisca, our cozy private lodge, located in the warm Apurímac Valley (with temperatures between 16°C and 18°C), where a comforting gourmet dinner and a night of restorative rest await you.

Day 2: Chiquisca – Playa Rosalina – Marampata – Choquequirao

Sunrise and Descent to the Apurímac River: After a hearty early gourmet breakfast at the camp, we will begin the trek. Descent of approximately 1 hour to the majestic Apurímac River, which we will cross by bridge.
Ascent Towards Marampata: We will begin a gradual ascent towards Santa Rosa (approximately 2 hours), where we will take a brief, refreshing break. Then, we will continue ascending for another 2 hours and 30 minutes until we reach Marampata.
Exclusive Lunch and Cultural Exploration in Marampata: In Marampata, you will be welcomed with a delicious lunch featuring fresh ingredients. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to explore the surroundings, learning about local agriculture and the authentic Quechua way of life in this ancient community.
Night in Our Exclusive Andean Home: We will spend the night in our comfortable private guesthouse in Marampata, with access to a good hot shower. A comforting exclusive dinner awaits you to replenish your energy.

Day 3: Choquequirao – Marampata – Chiquisca

The Most Important Day of Our Journey: The most significant day of our trip has arrived. After an excellent early breakfast, we'll begin an approximately 1 hour and 30-minute trek to the majestic lost city of the Incas: Choquequirao, the culmination of our expedition.
Deep and Exclusive Exploration of Choquequirao: We'll dedicate the entire day to exploring this enigmatic archaeological site. Our highly experienced professional guide will accompany you through its different sectors, including the main plaza, the imposing agricultural terraces, and the famous llama-decorated terraces, immersing you in its profound history and mystery. You'll have ample time to capture memorable photographs of this Inca heritage.
Relaxation and Comfort in Marampata: In the afternoon, we'll return to Marampata to spend the night in our exclusive private cabins with spectacular views at the Mamá Panchita campsite. Enjoy a comforting dinner and a well-deserved hot shower to relax your muscles.

Day 4: Chiquisca – Capuliyoc – Cachora – Cusco

Challenging and Scenic Return: After a good night's rest and a delicious breakfast, we'll pack our gear to begin the trek back to Capuliyoc. Following the same trail, this will be the longest and most challenging day of the hike (17 km, 8 to 9 hours), but every step will be rewarded by the breathtaking landscapes of the canyon.
Comfortable Lunch and Final Stretch: We'll make a brief stop at Playa Rosalina for a rest, then ascend to Chikisca (approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes) where we'll enjoy our exclusive lunch. We'll continue ascending through the Apurímac Valley until we reach Capuliyoc.

Reservations are confirmed with a minimum deposit of 50% of the total service cost.
Full payment must be completed at least 24 hours before the tour begins.
GMAX LUXE TRAVEL reserves the right to release reserved spots if payment deadlines are not met.
